Hey surfers,

A lot of us are still in lockdown and unable to surf. It's time to dream. And dream big. A surf trip. How many of us have been on a proper surf trip lately? If you have been, I'm stoked for you.

I've been dreaming about a place with perfect waves and warm water. A place that has crowded and empty world class waves. Where you can stay on land or sea. Choose lefts or rights. I think you know where it is. The land of "bagus bagus"!!

If you had a chance, where would you like to go in Indonesia?

I'm not picky. I just want to go. Anywhere. A week (or two) surfing my brains out to forget the endless weeks and months locked at home. But it got me thinking, whilst I know the names of the best waves could I place them on the map? Do I know where Macaronis or G-Land actually are?

I selected a few of the most famous waves in Indonesia and put them on the map. Also added a clip of the wave and tried to pick the average joe surfing it. It's interesting that most places are quite manageable unless it gets big.

Stuart Kennedy joins Aloha Surfboards
Aloha is an iconic surfing brand. This is one of the first brand that I could recognize as I young kid. I remember the pros coming into town for QS's and riding those boards, probably 20 years ago
Stuart Kennedy is an exciting surfer from Lennox Head, Australia that popularized Tomo's Sci-fi and SKX models.
It'll be interesting to see what comes out of this partnerships
Zeke Lau joins Tokoro Surfboards
Another iconic board manufacturer snatching a big talent. Most surfers when they get to Hawaii will order some boards from Wade Tokoro. Ezekiel Lau joins fellow Hawaiians Jamie O'brien and Seth Moniz.
